Cannabis Information

As a consumer you can begin purchasing recreational marijuana at 6 a.m. on January 1st, 2018.  All this

within counties that allowed the sale of commercial cannabis by this date, San Diego being one of them.

On this day, licensed retail outlets will be authorized by their local authorities to sale their products to

the public. We confirm that you are attaining products that have been approved by the three licensing

authorities, and are sold by city approved retailers.

Marijuana, Cannabis, & Hemp

It’s all the same thing. Cannabis is a plant, obviously, one of the members of the Cannabaceae family of plants, a set that also includes hops. Hemp is cannabis. Here’s the difference: The marketplace, and law enforcement, use words like “marijuana” and “cannabis” to refer to plants bred or naturally high in psychoactive cannabinoids like THC.

Is it Legal?

The Adult Use of Marijuana Act (Proposition 64) was passed on November 8th, 2016, legalizing the recreational use of marijuana for adults in California over the age of 21. Marijuana still cannot be smoked in public places, unless it is allowed by a local ordinance. Smoking pot would still be outlawed within 1,000 feet of a school, day-care center or youth center while children are present. People busted smoking marijuana in public can expect to face a fine of up to $100. Those caught smoking pot in a place where tobacco smoking is prohibited or near a school can be fined up to $250.

Growing & Selling

Those who grow, process, transport or sell marijuana must get a state license, and pay a fee — that hasn’t been set yet — to cover the cost of the state processing and enforcing the licenses.

Those running shops must undergo a background check to obtain a state license, and they can be denied if they have felony convictions involving violence, fraud, drug trafficking or selling drugs to a minor.

California ,Oregon, and Washington

Medical and Recreational marijuana have been legalized in California! If you’re over 21, find a shop, make a purchase, and enjoy the brave new world of legal cannabis!

Where Does the Tax Money Go

State analysts estimate state taxes could generate up to $1 billion annually in revenue. The state of California plans to regulate and control cannabis with a  code of regulations.

THC (Tetrahydrocannabinols) Extracts

Kief is the simplest of concentrates. Kief is composed of the trichomes (the crystalline structures coating the outside surface of the flowers) broken away from the dried plant material, usually via specialized filtering screens and a little elbow grease. Kief is generally considered a lower-quality extract, but some top-flight extractors can produce an extremely clean and flavorful product using the dry sieve method. THC content can range from 20 percent to 60 percent.

THC Wax / Dabs

Dabs, being a more highly concentrated form of THC, are going to get you to that next level for sure. But, you if you are a regular cannabis smoker, they are nothing to be afraid of. There is not nearly as much of a warning on dabs as with edibles, which can have you high for many hours. Just make sure you aren’t looking to pass a drug test anytime soon, as the potent concentrates stick in your system longer. There is a little more of a process to take a dab, it involves a torch and bit of timing. Heating the nail is usually pretty easy, but waiting until the nail is the perfect temperature for the hit is a skill developed over time. Sometimes, even if you don’t have a rig you can figure out how to smoke dabs without a rig.

Hashish’s psychoactive effects are similar to pot but these effects differ between the types of hashish. The feeling of “high” derived from hashish lasts for three hours. This induces a feeling of relaxation and peace. Also, it enhances sensory experience, reduces stress and elevates the mood of the user.

CBD (Cannabidiols)

CBD does not distort consciousness, like THC . Rather, it tends to lighten lighten the mood, ease pain, and quell anxiety. CBD strains are typically described as focused, clear-headed, and relaxing.

CBD is a powerful therapeutic agent. Most strains are THC-dominant, some strains are CBD-dominant, and some strains have a healthy mix of both.

CBD does not cause a psychoactive high, it is still considered illegal under most federal drug laws. CBD sold without a medical cannabis authorization is extracted from plants with less than 0.3 percent THC.
